What we need:
- 1/2 cup ground pork
- vegetable oil
- few drops chili sauce or dash chili powder
- 1 small green sweet pepper, chopped
- 1 small white onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter or vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 3/4 cups chicken stock or water
and chicken bouillon cubes - 1 (12 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 cup cooked rice
- salt
Cooking Instructions
- Saute the ground pork in a small pan in its own fat for 5 minute-
add few drops of oil if necessary. (This is almost dry frying.) Drain off
any surplus fat. - Add the chili sauce or chili powder.
- Fry the pepper and onion in the butter or oil in a large saucepan for 5 minutes.
Stir in the flour until smooth. - Blend in the heated stock, combined with the tomatoes
- Add the ground pork and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
- Add the cooked rice and simmer for a further 5
