What we need:
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 medium onion, quartered
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon dill
- 6 large carrots, pared and cut in thick slices
Cooking Instructions
- Bring water and vinegar to boiling. Put in onion, salt,
dill, and carrots. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Cool. - Refrigerate in liquid until chilled.
- Drain and serve cold.
This is 4 to 6 servings
