Caribbean Pork Chop

What we need:

  • 2 pork chops
  • 4-5 pieces ham or bacon
  • 1 can pineapple
  • 1 apple
  • 1 sweet pepper
  • 1 garlic clove
  • oil
  • 1 teaspoon starch
  • soy sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
  • honey

Cooking Instructions:

  • Peel an apple and chop it. Open a pineapple can. Put aside juice from the can. Cut pepper and bacon (ham) in small pieces.

  • Fry pieces of bacon , then add apple, pepper and chopped garlic. Add pineapple juice and honey.

  • Saute for 10-15 minutes, add corn starch, pepper, salt and soy sauce.

  • Brown pork chops in skillet. Cover and cook for 25 minutes. Then add bacon, pineapple, apple mixture and cook for additional 30 minutes. Add water if needed.
