Tiramisu

Tiramisu includes Mascarpone cheese, raw eggs, sugar, coffee, ladyfingers, liquor and cocoa. Heavy cream may be used instead of Mascarpone cheese. This desert is very rich and melt in the mouth and has a fancy taste. The cake is perfect for a special occasion instead of traditional cake. You will be surprised how easy it is to make and how many compliments you will get from your guests or family. The most important and exciting part - no baking. Desert requires 30 minutes to prepare + 3 hours in the fridge before serving.

What we need:
9 oz Mascarpone cheese
4 eggs (separate whites and yolks)
2 3/4 oz powder sugar
4 fl oz cold strong coffee
1 box (or about 30) lady fingers cookies
2 3/4 oz dark chocolate
4 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream

Cooking Instructions:

  • Beat egg yolks with 2 3/4 oz sugar until white. Mix in Mascarpone until smooth.
    In a large glass or metal mixing bowl, with clean beaters, beat egg whites until
    foamy. Add the whites into the Mascarpone mixture.

  • Combine coffee and Irish Cream.
  • Deep ladyfingers in coffee and Irish cream mixture. Place on bottom and sides
    of a glass baking dish. Spread 1/3 of the Mascarpone mixture. Sprinkle chocolate
    shavings over this layer.

  • Do another layer (or two), then cover with the remaining cream mixture. Top with chocolate.

  • Cover with plastic, and refrigerate overnight.
