Ginger-Sesame Chicken with Bok Choy and Mushrooms


  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon white wine
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper(crushed)
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 3/4 pound Shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 pound boneless chicken breasts, cut into i-inch pieces
  • 1 pound bok choy, sliced thickly
  • 1 small red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped ginger
  • 1 medium chopped garlic clove
