  • 1 pound ground meat (chicken

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 average onion
  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 sweet pepper
  • 1 cup herbs (parsley and dill)

Sauce

  • 1 onion
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • lemon juice (2 lemons)
  • 1/2 cup white wine

Pirozhki with Spinach and Feta

It is very easy to make pirozhki that are melting in your mouth. But you should have to remember two important rules:
1. roll the dough as thin as possible;
2. pirozhki should be small
Filling for pirozhki can be various, sweet or salt, just make sure it won’t flow.

What we need:
* 2 cans refrigerated crescent biscuits
* 1 pound mozzarella cheese or any kind of your favorite feta cheese
* 1 bag spinach
* 2 egg yolks (for brushing)

Meat Pie

What we need:

Dough:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 oz butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg

Filling:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 average onion
  • 10-12 mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 egg and 1 yolk
  • salt, pepper

Cooking Instructions:

  • Mix butter and flour, add salt and egg, make a dough and put in the fridge for an hour.

  • Saute ground meat in butter and a little bit of oil with onions and mushrooms until browned.
    Season with salt and pepper. Cool and add 1 egg to the filling. Whip the mixture.
  • Roll out the dough, spread the filling, join edges together, brush with the yolk.

  • Bake in a preheated 395 F oven 1-1,5 hours, or until golden brown.
  • Serve cold.
